An iconic 20/25 HP with a very elegant and sporty unique bodywork designed by Mulliner!~

  • The Rolls-Royce 20/25 HP was built between 1929 and 1936 to succeed the 20 HP. It is the most popular Rolls-Royce of the interwar period. All 20/25 HPs were equipped with bodywork made by independent coachbuilders, many of which were unique pieces.~
  • Released from the Rolls-Royce factories around July 1933, this 20/25 HP was initially bodied as a limousine, and belonged to Prince Charles-Casimir Poniatowski. In 1938, it was fitted at Kellner, in Paris, with a cabriolet body which is the one that still equips it today. During World War II, it was requisitioned by the German General Staff then, at Liberation, it seems to have stayed on the Côte d'Azur, in the hands of an aristocrat.~
  • In the 1950s, it would have been used by a jazz pianist and, in 1968 it arrived in the collection of the late Dominique Geffré, well known among vintage car enthusiasts in the southwest, creator of ACSO Classic of which he was an active organizer.~
  • In 1997, this car's engine benefited from a complete restoration, before it changed hands in favor of another enthusiast from the Southwest, regional delegate of the French Federation of Vintage Vehicles. He undertook at that time a restoration of the soft top and front seats, while taking part in numerous rallies and tours including the Circuit de Catalogne, the Tour de Corse, the Circuit en Andorre, the Rally à Valencia, the 50th Rally Costa Brava, or the Rallye Rolls Royce, totaling approximately 4,500 km covered in ten years.~
  • The car changed hands again in 2014, at the Rétromobile Show, when acquired by the current owner's father, who used it very little. This sublime Rolls-Royce 20/25 cabriolet, signed by an eminent French coachbuilder, is today in beautiful presentation condition and its 6-cylinder will only require an apparently easy recommissioning before allowing its future owner to once again line up in rallies...~
