This 2016 Pagani Huayra is powered by a twin-turbocharged 6.0-liter V-12 engine paired with a seven-speed sequential manual transmission. The Mercedes-AMG-developed M158 engine features a revised intercooler layout, reprogrammed ECU settings and dry-sump lubrication. It produces 730hp and 738 lb-ft of torque across a 2,250-4,500 rpm range. A water/oil heat exchanger is mounted atop the engine to reduce warm-up times and maintain stable fluid temperatures. The titanium exhaust system, weighing under 10 kilograms, utilizes a free-flow design with hydroformed joints and Inconel silencers. The chassis incorporates advanced composite construction contributing to a 2,975-pound dry weight.
The suspension system includes variable-height front capability and active aerodynamic elements. Four independently operated flaps at the front and rear are controlled by a dedicated module using inputs from the ABS and ECU, including speed, yaw rate, steering angle and throttle position. Stopping power is handled by Brembo carbon-ceramic disc brakes with six-piston front and four-piston rear calipers. The cross-drilled rotors measure 15 inches in diameter. The exterior is finished in Gray Clement with blue exposed carbon fiber and integrates active aerodynamic components that adjust to optimize drag and downforce.
The interior features a custom blue carbon-fiber cabin trimmed in bespoke leather upholstery. Aluminum switchgear and an analog-digital instrument cluster are centrally mounted. Additional features include an interior aluminum set in titanium and a seven-piece fitted luggage set. This vehicle was delivered new to Miller Motorcars of Greenwich, Connecticut, with an MSRP of $1,301,148, increasing to $1,527,164 with factory options. It is one of 100 examples produced. The seller states there is a very minor scuff on the interior wheel well. 2,331 actual miles.
