Three years after Ferrari introduced the 365 Berlinetta Boxer it raised the stakes with the BB512, bumping the flat-12 “Boxer” engine out to an even 5 liters for increased torque and drivability while retaining its striking Pininfarina-penned lines. This hauntingly beautiful 1981 coupe is one of only 929 BB512s built with 4 Weber downdraft carburetors, judged by many as faster and more reliable than the later fuel injected cars. Finished in Black with a Tan-and-Black leather interior, it shows just 17,900 miles and received a complete engine-out service in 2009.
