The Carrera GT roadster is based on pure racing technology. Powered by a normally aspirated V-10 engine connected to a 6-speed manual transmission with racing-type clutch. The body, made mainly from carbon fiber, ensures high rigidity, passenger safety and low weight. The V-10 engine displaces 5.7 liters, and produces 600hp and 442 ft/lbs of peak torque, sufficient enough to propel the 3,146-lb Carrera GT from 0-60 mph in less than 4 seconds, 0-125 mph in under 10 seconds and to a top speed of over 205 mph.
