This 1972 DeTomaso Pantera L is presented in yellow and rides on stock Campagnolo wheels. The car is powered by a 351-cid V-8 engine which is paired to a five-speed manual transmission. Power features on the Pantera include power windows and four-wheel disc brakes. The original black interior shows its age well, showing very little wear. The seller has recently noticed a slight bounce in the speedometer, all other gauges are said to be working properly.
The current owner purchased the car three years ago and added a few performance upgrades on the car including an aftermarket Edelbrock Performer intake and Holley 750-cfm dual-feed carburetor. The heads were redone so the car could run unleaded fuel. The suspension system was completely rebuilt, and the air conditioning compressor and starter were replaced. The car retains its original black front and rear “L” model bumpers. Dropped floorpans were installed, not due to rust, but to help a taller owner fit more comfortably in the vehicle. The seller reports the car runs and drives great.
