طُرحت Aston Martin DB6 في معرض لندن للسيارات عام 1965، خلفًا لسيارة DB5 الناجحة للغاية، التي خلدها فيلم جيمس بوند «Goldfinger» عام 1964. كان الجزء الأمامي من DB6 مشابهًا بصريًا لـDB5، لكن التدقيق يكشف عن سيارة مختلفة تمامًا. زادت قاعدة العجلات، ما أتاح مساحة إضافية للركاب في الخلف، إلى جانب خط سقف أعلى. واستوحى شكل النوافذ الجانبية الخلفية من DB4 GT Zagato، وهو طابع تصميمي استمر في طرازي DBS وV8 حتى توقف الإنتاج عام 1990.

عُرضت هذه DB6 الرائعة الجديدة لدى الوكيل D H Bloomer في غريمسبي، وسُجلت لأول مرة في 16 أغسطس 1968 باسم السيد Drink من بوسطن، لينكولنشاير. وقد عُرضت بطلاء زيتوني ومقصورة من جلد Connolly البيج، وكانت مجهزة أصلًا بخيارات تشمل المقود المعزز والزجاج الخلفي المدفأ والعجلات السلكية المطلية بالكروم.

أُنجزت أعمال الترميم لدى Aston Service Dorset وDerek Watson Restoration عام 1995. ثم بيعت DB6 عام 1998، وظلت مخزنة في مكان جاف واستُخدمت من حين لآخر حتى عام 2021، حين اقتناها البائع. وخلال فترة امتلاك البائع، تولى صيانتها بالكامل متخصصون مرموقون في العلامة، هما Desmond J Smail Ltd في أولني وAston Engineering في ديربي.

تُعرض هذه النسخة بحالة ممتازة؛ إذ يحتفظ الطلاء بلمعان عميق وفي حالة جيدة جدًا، وكذلك المقصورة وحجرة المحرك، مع آثار تقادم خفيفة متوقعة. ويُذكر أنها تعمل وتسير على نحو ممتاز للغاية، وتأتي مع ملف تاريخي كبير يتضمن العديد من فواتير أعمال الصيانة، ووثيقة التسجيل الحالية V5C، وشهادات فحص MoT السابقة. وقد خضعت هذه النسخة للترميم سابقًا وحافظت على مستوى رفيع طوال عمرها، ما يجعلها خيارًا ممتازًا لأي متحمس أو جامع يبحث عن DB6 بحالة جيدة وجاهزة للاستخدام فورًا.
