Handled by famed importer Max Hoffman, this Porsche 356 arrived in New York in July 1960 finished in Silver Metallic over a Red vinyl interior. The accompanying copy of the Kardex data card lists the first owner as Mr Samuel C Hoagland of New Jersey. Subsequently acquired in 1974 by Mr David Ohanian, chassis 88005 was listed in 1986 as having been changed to red over black before he registered the car in Massachusetts in 2003.

Returned to its original colour combination and relocated to Belgium, this Super 90 was sold via marque specialist August SA to The Curated Collection in March 2012. Most recently, an extensive recommissioning was carried out by Porsche Centre Louvain-La-Neuve in November 2022 at a cost of €11,826 (invoices available to view on file). Please note, this car is fitted with an engine that does not show a serial stamp.

Cette Porsche 356 arriva à New York en juillet 1960 grâce au célèbre importateur Max Hoffman, dans un coloris Silver Metallic et avec une sellerie en vinyle Red. D’après sa fiche d’information Kardex, son premier propriétaire fut M. Samuel C Hoagland, du New Jersey. Elle fut ensuite achetée en 1974 par M. David Ohanian. Le numéro de châssis 88005 a été répertorié en 1986 comme ayant changé de couleur, pour passer du noir au rouge, avant que la voiture soit enregistrée dans le Massachusetts en 2003.

À son arrivée en Belgique, la Super 90 avait retrouvé sa combinaison de couleurs d’origine, puis a été vendue à "The Curated Collection" par August SA, spécialiste de la marque, en mars 2012. Une importante restauration a été menée par Porsche Centre Louvain-La-Neuve en novembre 2022, pour un montant de 11 826 € (factures disponibles dans le dossier). Il convient de noter que cette voiture est équipée d’un moteur dépourvu de numéro de série.

Cette 356 Roadster s’accompagne de son manuel du propriétaire, d’un carnet d’entretien et d’un Certificat d’Authenticité Porsche. Cette Porsche ancienne est idéale pour un passionné de voitures anciennes.
