The Maserati Merak was produced between 1972 and 1982 with a mid-mounted 3.0 litre V6 quad cam engine and a 5 speed gearbox. Produced in limited numbers, the car used the 'Bora' bodyshell but was a prettier and lighter car with 220 BHP and weighing in at just 1400Kgs . The competition of the day came from the Ferrari 308 GT4 and the Lamborghini Urraco.

Offering outstanding value for money today, this 1980 Merak SS has covered 70,000 miles from new, substantiated by many old MOT's dating all the way back to 1983. The history file also contains pictures on a CD showing the restoration process and various bills relating to the work carried out.
