Aston Martin is renowned the world over for the elegance of its GT cars and its prestigious record of achievements, notably in the 24 Hours of Le Mans, but the Aston Martin Lagonda is undoubtedly one of Newport Pagnell’s most eccentric productions Our example is one of the 76 in the 3 Series launched on 25 January 1986 at the New York Motor Show| equipped with fuel injection developed jointly by Weber and Magneti Marelli, its V8 develops 305 hp and is mated to a 3-speed Torqueflite automatic gearbox from Chrysler Purchased in 2012 by its current owner in the Paris region, the car has been driven very little recently and is therefore in need of a complete overhaul The interior is in good condition but the LED dashboard is inoperative| the exterior bodywork was repainted a few years ago An avant-garde project with futuristic, wedge-shaped lines, this car is above all a technological showcase that may have arrived a little early, but it’s worth rediscovering!
