The Alfa Romeo Giulietta Saloon was first introduced in April 1955 at the Torino Motor Show. It was manufactured at the Portello factory in Milan and was built with a beautiful all alloy twin-cam engine that could propel the lightweight saloon to a top speed of 155 km/h. This was amazing performance when compared to its competitors at the time, and it proved immediately successful.

The Giulietta offered today was originally built on 24 January 1956, and it was sold on 1 February, through the Alfa Romeo dealership in Mestre, Venezia, Italy, to Antonia Pugnalin. At the time, the car was finished in Grigio Notte (AR 705). On 11 April 1956, the car was first registered with the license plate VE 31499. A few months later, in September, this Giulietta was acquired by Pietro Suman. It has since spent all of its life in Italy, and it had been owned for some time by Francesco Gallorini, who, in 1994, obtained a CSAI Passport and an ASI Certificate for the car in order to enter it in historic events.

In 2005, Gallorini then sold the Alfa to Mario Pietrella, a well-known Alfa Romeo collector. It was acquired several years ago by the present owner, who is a real quadrifoglio enthusiast. The car has been recently serviced, and it is the ideal entrant for the Tour Auto or the Mille Miglia.

La berline Alfa Romeo Giulietta a été dévoilée en avril 1965 au Salon de Turin. Produite dans l'usine du Portello, à Milan, elle était équipée du superbe moteur double arbre tout aluminium capable d'emmener cette voiture légère à 155 km/h en pointe ; une performance étonnante, comparée à ses rivales de l'époque. Ce modèle a rencontré un succès immédiat.

La Giulietta proposée aujourd'hui est sortie d'usine le 24 janvier 1956, et a été vendue le 1er février à Antonia Pugnalin par l'intermédiaire du distributeur Alfa Romeo de Mestre, près de Venise, en Italie. A l'époque, elle était peinte de couleur Grigio Notte (AR 705). Le 11 avril 1956, elle recevait sa première immatriculation, VE 31499 et, quelques mois plus tard, en septembre, elle passait entre les mains de Pietro Suman. Depuis, cette voiture est restée en Italie, propriété pendant quelques temps de Francesco Gallorini qui, en 1994, obtenait un passeport CSAI ainsi qu'un certificat ASI, de façon à pouvoir prendre part à des événements historiques.

Gallorini a ensuite vendu cette Giulietta, en 2005, à Mario Pietrella, collectionneur Alfa Romeo bien connu. L'actuel propriétaire, un vrai passionné du quadrifoglio, en a fait l'acquisition il y a quelques années. Elle a été révisée récemment et constitue une voiture idéale pour s'engager au Tour Auto ou aux Mille Miglia.
