This single owner Impreza WRX Turbo is fitted with the Prodrive Performance Pack and has covered less than 30,000 miles from new. A second generation, post-first facelift Impreza four-door. The less than successful ‘bug-eye’ front-end treatment of the first attempt was replaced with a new look in 2002 that became known, perhaps unfairly, as the ‘blob-eye’. The standard 1,994cc flat-four WRX Turbo in 2003 produced 222bhp and 221lb/ft of torque fed through a 5-speed manual gearbox to all four wheels and offered 0-60mph in 5.7 seconds. This beautifully presented example is finished in Premium Silver Metallic over a black leather interior with a MOMO black steering wheel and sits on STi alloys.
First registered in 2003, it was then fitted with the Prodrive Performance Pack and has remained with its original keeper, completing less than 30,000 miles to date. The Prodrive Performance Pack (PPP) included a recalibrated ECU lifting turbo boost pressure from around 13-14psi to something nearer to 19psi, a higher capacity fuel pump and a stainless steel exhaust system, increasing torque by up to 20% and power by around 15%. Supplied with original handbooks, WRX Prodrive Performance Pack paperwork and certificate, invoices and previous MOTs.
Powerful and engaging, it would now make a natural addition to a wider assembly of rally-inspired vehicles as well as an involving and exciting weekend toy for any marque enthusiast.
