A fine example of British luxury and craftsmanship, the Rolls-Royce Corniche Mulliner Park Ward represents the elegance and prestige synonymous with the Rolls-Royce marque. Hand-built by the renowned coachbuilder Mulliner Park Ward, the Corniche combined timeless styling with exceptional comfort and refinement, making it one of the most desirable grand touring cars of its era. Powered by Rolls-Royce’s smooth and effortless 6.75-litre V8 engine coupled with automatic transmission, the Corniche delivers a serene driving experience befitting its status as a luxury motor car. Finished with the marque’s unmistakable attention to detail, their interiors offer sumptuous leather upholstery, fine wood veneers and extensive appointments throughout.
This lovely example has had only two previous owners who were a father and then his son. It has recently been resprayed in the gleaming black you see today and comes with beige leather upholstery which is in good condition and it has a new beige electrically operated hood and its Walnut door cappings and dashboard have been restored which now looks wonderful. There is service history prior to the car having been in storage in the early 2000’s, where it was laid up for circa 20 years. The history file contains various invoices for works carried out over the last few years.
Produced in limited numbers and favoured by celebrities and dignitaries alike, the Corniche remains an enduring symbol of sophistication and exclusivity. Interested parties should note that the roof has worked prior to arriving at the auction and has worked when it arrived. However, it appears to not be working at the moment which we believe is due to a faulty regulator but this will need to be looked at by a specialist.
