Active Brake Cooling ducts, which open to direct cooling air only when the brakes are hot, are closed at other times to further reduce drag.
The interior, based on the FF, features new “Frau leather” upholstery with aluminum, Alutex and carbon fiber trim. This F12’s driver-focused, yet sumptuous, beige leather interior includes Nero (black) carpets, a carbon fiber driver zone + LEDS, a central bridge and console, and even a cupholder, plus leather lower dashboard surfaces. Daytona-style power bucket seats feature Ferrari’s renowned Cavallino Rampante (prancing horse) headrest stitching. Ferrari’s signature F1-derived Manettino drive-mode control graces the F12’s steering wheel.
