This 1968 example of the Elan +2 is finished in red with a black leather interior and was previously restored in 2000. More recently the car has been refreshed and shows a mere 75,101 miles on the odometer. Fitted with a replacement Lotus galvanised chassis and Roto-flex driveshaft couplings, this Elan presents very well. The paintwork is in good order and the interior is also in excellent condition with both seats, door cards and dashboard all presenting well.

Offered in SE specification including Weber carburettors, the 1,558cc twin-cam engine is mated to a stainless-steel exhaust and is reported to be in good driving condition having been treated to new plugs, leads, coil and servicing less than 50 miles ago. Ready to be enjoyed by a new custodian, this Elan comes complete with a history file detailing previous maintenance work, sundry invoices, previous MOT test certificates and the current UK V5 registration documents. This certainly represents one of the best examples on the market today.
