Ferrari FF« Atelier » – 2012 French registration title At the 2011 Geneva Motor Show, the prancing-horse company presented the replacement for its 612 Scaglietti: called the FF, the newborn arrives with a number of innovations, including the adoption of the 4RM (4-wheel drive) system, never before seen on a Ferrari. This novelty incorporates two different gearboxes: one with 7-gears for the rear wheels, and the other with 2-gears for the front wheels, offering a very pleasing distribution of power, even during sporty driving!

Our example is one of the extremely rare “Atelier” cars (the highest level of personalisation at Ferrari), and was delivered new to the Modena Motors dealership in Mandelieu in this very elegant shade of Grigio FF, with the interior in black leather and alcantara.

Optional extras include the ASF (Adaptive Front Light System), sports exhaust, the absence of Scuderia logos on the sides,

all available carbon interior elements, with LED steering wheel, reversing camera, upgraded sound system, and above all a rare but typical option for this era: a TV for rear passengers, with headphones bearing the Ferrari logo!

Today, its general condition is good, and the 77,000 km covered since leaving the factory are only slightly visible on the bodywork: where the two bumpers have certainly received a more recent coat of paint, the other elements are original and in good condition.

The upholstery is also very well preserved, with just one flaw to be noted in the leather cover of the dashboard vents.

The service history shows that most of the car’s servicing has been carried out within the Ferrari network, and at regular intervals.

Today, the car is in very good working order: the naturally-aspirated V12 at the front, coupled with the improved F1 gearbox,

offers an exceptional driving feel for a car of this size. The carbon ceramic brake discs show a normal wear rate for the mileage, and our example benefits from a Ferrari Power annual warranty programme renewed at the beginning of November, at the same time as the front shock absorbers and rear brake pads were changed by Ferrari at a cost of around €8,000.

After a long period of depreciation, the Ferraris of this era are now being valued at very attractive prices: an explosion in their prices is to be expected in the near future, especially since the number of naturally-aspirated V12s on the market has fallen... Fans looking for a 3-in-1 car, here’s a tool that’s as exceptional as it is rare in Atelier trim!
