Dévoilée en 1988 et produite à seulement 500 exemplaires, la M3 Evolution 2 reçoit bon nombre de modifications tant sur le plan mécanique qu'aérodynamique. Cette BMW M3 E30 Evo 2 est vendue en 1988 à un boulanger perpignanais qui conserve la voiture de façon maniaque. En mars 2016, cette rare BMW est cédée au propriétaire actuel un pilote de rallye de Carcassonne particulièrement exigeant sur l'état de ses voitures. L'auto, qui dispose d'un impressionnant dossier de factures, a toujours été soigneusement entretenue chez BMW. En 1999 à 98 320 km, le moteur d'origine a été remplacé en échange standard et sur facture chez BMW Alart à Perpignan.
Au début de l'année, la BMW M3 est " reliftée " de fond en comble. Les cinq jantes BBS sont rénovées et la caisse reçoit une peinture complète (ouvrants et habillage déposés). Des photos d'expertise montrent qu'avant de recevoir cette nouvelle robe, la BMW n'avait que des bosses et des rayures d'usage. En même temps que la carrosserie est superbement remise à neuf, le moteur subit une rénovation importante (coussinets de bielle, vilebrequin, pompe à huile, etc.) et l'auto est équipée d'une pompe à essence et d'un silencieux neuf. Un rapport d'expertise souligne le bon état général de cette auto.
Ayant parcouru moins de 138 000 km, avec son intérieur d'origine, cette BMW M3 E.30 Evo 2, qui n'a connu que deux propriétaires depuis sa sortie d'usine, est une rare opportunité de connaître les émotions procurées par le sigle M. This BMW M3 E30 Evo 2 was sold in 1988 to a baker from Perpignan who was obsessed with the way he kept it.
In March 2016, this rare BMW was sold to the current owner, a rally driver from Carcassonne who is particularly fussy about the condition of his cars. Evidenced by a large file of invoices, the car has always been meticulously maintained by BMW. The original engine had a mileage of 98,320 km and was replaced by a new engine from the factory as related by an invoice from BMW in 1999. At the beginning of the year, this BMW M3 had a "facelift" from top to bottom. All five BBS rims were refurbished and the bodywork was completely repainted (windows, doors and trims removed). Before having this new paint job, inspection photos show that the BMW only had dents and scratches due to wear and tear.
While the bodywork was superbly restored, the engine underwent a major rebuild (rod bearing shells, crankshaft, oil pump, etc.) and the car was fitted with a new fuel pump and muffler. An expert report emphasises the overall good condition of this car. With less than 138,000 km on the clock, its original interior and only two owners since leaving the production line, this BMW M3 E30 Evo 2 is a rare opportunity to experience countless emotions provided by this M entity.
