This delightful Bentley has been owned within the same family since 1985. The penultimate owner having passed away a couple of years ago, the family transferred ownership into their name. Always having been a much enjoyed and cared example, it was decided during lockdown to try and bring the car back up to a good standard in memory of their late father. Specialist mechanical repairs were carried out which included replacing the head gasket and ensuring the ‘one shot’ lubrication system works correctly. The interior was thoroughly cleaned, with the leather being treated and the wood refurbished.

During our inspection, the car started immediately when requested and ran extremely well, the 4566cc engine sounded excellent. We are advised she drives well with no known faults. This stylish, aluminium-bodied R-Type, with coachwork by H.J. Mulliner, is competitively estimated given the condition of the car and is well worth further inspection.
