This 1997 Porsche 993 Turbo S is finished in black paint over a black leather and carbon-fiber interior. It is one of just 176 Porsche 993 Turbo S models built by Porsche Exclusive for North America in 1997. It is the most desirable and final evolution of the air-cooled 911, and this was only year the Turbo S was offered to the North American market. Power from the rear-mounted, twin-turbocharged flat-6 engine is rated at 424hp at 6,250 rpm, with 423 ft/lbs of torque at 4,500 rpm and is mated to its AWD drivetrain via a 6-speed manual transaxle. This Turbo S was sold new at Rusnak Westlake Porsche in California and remained in California until about 2006.

It then found its way into the hands of a few car collectors, who drove it very little. Porsche enthusiasts will recognize a '97 Turbo S immediately by its exterior features, which include the Aerokit II front and rear spoilers, extra air inlets in front and rear, yellow brake calipers versus the standard Turbo's red calipers, Turbo S badging and 18-inch wheels. Inside, the car is unique as well. What isn't made from carbon fiber or painted to match is instead expertly covered in leather. The instrument cluster, steering wheel, shifter and brake handles, door panels and door pulls are made from carbon fiber.

The lengthy list of items covered in leather includes all stalks, knobs, roof, pillars, air vents, glove box, window switches, steering column, rear storage area, speaker covers, instrument rings, sun visors and much more. Additional factory options beyond the list of Turbo S standards include leather-edged floor mats with Porsche script, automatic speed control, interior monitoring, pleated leather rear seats, pleated leather front seats and an electronic sunroof. Records with the car include some service and ownership history, the original leather Porsche pouch with a complete set of owner's manuals, a warranty booklet, radio card, radio manual and more. 27,238 actual miles.
