This Speedster re-creation features a Fiberfab 356 California wide-body powered by a spec-built 2275cc engine with close-ratio 4-speed manual transmission with Weddle gears and Stage ll clutch. It’s equipped with a hand-built frame, dual large Weber downdraft carburetors, MSD electronic ignition, deep-sump oil case, ported heads and large oil cooler. The detailed engine bay features hand-fabricated turned aluminum panels, polished and chrome accents, center-mount Porsche-style alternator and custom fan housing. It has a custom hand-built rectangle-tube chassis, not an old VW pan. The 4-wheel independent suspension is adjustable.

Other features include 4-wheel disc brakes, custom offset lightweight Centerline wheels, roll bar, Simpson harness, full gauges, custom wiring harness, convertible top and top boot. This show-quality Speedster was originally designed for Autocross and track days, fast light and fun to drive.
