In 1988, Lotus produced a Limited Edition Commemorative Esprit Turbo celebrating the 40th anniversary of Lotus. This vehicle is #5 of the 88 produced. Mid-mounted Lotus Type 910 16-valve DOHC turbocharged engine. BOSCH K-Jetronic multi-port fuel injection with electronic ignition, 5-speed transaxle, 4-wheel disc brakes with ventilated front rotors, Lotus Design alloy wheels, new high-performance tires, rack & pinion steering, self-balancing dual fuel tanks, air conditioning, pearlescent white body and wheels, removable roof panel with wind deflector, walnut wood dash with custom Connolly leather interior including suede pigskin inserts. Vehicle carefully maintained, stored in air-ventilated plastic no-touch surround indoors.
