Featuring a powerful 3.6L V-8 with a gated 6-speed manual transmission, this Rosso Corsa Ferrari 360 Spider has the optional Daytona seats, Scuderia shields upon the fenders and ventilated disc brakes. Armed with extensive service-history documentation from Newport Beach Ferrari, the major servicing was done at 12,583 miles on July 29, 2015, and an annual service was performed at 13,058 miles on June 29, 2016. CarFax states no accidents reported, and this car seems to reflect that claim; the paint and body are in spectacular condition and show no obvious signs of mishaps of any kind.

The interior is very handsome, if even a bit somber, in black with silver trim, quite in contrast to the bright, outgoing red exterior. This one has a desirable 6-speed manual transmission with the much sought-after gated shifter, which became rarer and rarer before giving way completely to Ferrari’s automatic paddle-shifted gearboxes. The 360 Modena replaced the F355 in 1999, named in honor of the city where Enzo Ferrari was born. The 360s are known for being fantastically docile drivers with exceptional mannerisms, although a bit hyper—360s feel light on their feet, ready to zig and zag in split-second motions.

Some equated the 360 as not only being fast, but making the driver feel fast, like being part of the car, like receiving a constant charge of energy. One motoring journalist referred to the 360 as one of the most exciting Ferraris ever built. They also immediately proved their worth in sports-car racing with much success on the track. Today, the 360s are still well respected, especially the 6-speed examples. This one, with its low mileage, documented service history and overall condition, is a fabulous opportunity.
