Ferrari revealed the 360 platform in 1999 to replace the F355 and take the mantle as the Italian marque’s flagship rear-mid-engine sports car. The first model, the 360 Modena—named after the birthplace of company founder, Enzo Ferrari—was later followed by the 360 Spider and Challenge Stradale. The 360 Modena was powered by a 394 hp, 3.6-litre Tipo F131 V-8 engine with a choice of a six-speed manual or “F1” electro-hydraulic manual transmission.
This 2001 Ferrari 360 Modena left the Ferrari factory finished in Grigio Alloy over a Blu Scuro leather interior, equipped with the “F1” gearbox and supplied by Genesis S.A., the official Ferrari dealer near Athens, Greece. It is believed that this is one of just 25 examples specified with the optional removable sunroof, which is stowed behind the seats in a leather bag when not fitted. The 360 Modena is supplied with two items of luggage, and a leather pouch containing select Ferrari books, such as the User’s Manual and Owner’s Warranty & Service Book—the latter of which shows a history of servicing at Genesis S.A, most recently in December 2021, when timing belts were changed.
The odometer reads 26,018 km at the time of cataloguing and the car has been retained by its consigning owner from new.
C'est en 1999 que Ferrari a présenté la plateforme 360 destinée à remplacer la F355 et à être la voiture de sport à moteur central qui endosserait le rôle de vaisseau amiral de la marque italienne. Le premier modèle, la 360 Modena, du nom de la ville de naissance du fondateur de la marque, Enzo Ferrari, fut suivi par la 360 Spider et la Challenge Stradale. Le vendeur a été l'unique propriétaire de cette voiture, dont le compteur affiche 26 018 km au moment de l'édition du catalogue.
