If you want to see flames coming out of the exhaust on a Porsche GT3 RS, you don’t need to install decats or make any radical modifications.

In fact, flames can appear even on a completely stock exhaust. All it takes is to properly heat up the car. For example, after a long track session, when the car has been running under load for an extended period, the exhaust system gets hot enough that flames appear naturally on lift-off. And yes — this happens on the stock exhaust, without any modifications.

If you do what I did and replace the rear muffler with an Akrapovič system, the effect becomes slightly stronger and more visible. The flames appear more consistently and look more dramatic, while everything still stays within safe and factory-friendly limits.

The most important part: — no loss of dealer warranty — no error messages — no check engine light — the car operates perfectly normally

You can safely change only the rear muffler, without decats, without touching the catalytic converters, and without any risk to the car. It doesn’t affect electronics, reliability, or warranty coverage.

In these photos, I wanted to show how the flames look on a Porsche GT3 RS with an Akrapovič rear muffler. Everything is clean and OEM-like — just with a bit more excitement.

So if you want that real, beautiful exhaust flame — there’s no need to do anything extreme.
