First Track Day with the New GT3 RS Setup — Instantly 2 Seconds Faster

Today was my first track day with the new Porsche GT3 RS setup, completed at Mission Motorsport: https://share.google/90IEmvTaGcaZG6CMX

This is a joint setup by Mission Motorsport and Suspension Secrets, and the result is noticeable from the very first laps.

The car is now significantly lower, which is clearly visible in the photos. I included two cars for comparison: — my black GT3 RS with the new setup — a white, completely stock factory GT3 RS

The difference in ride height is obvious — the car now looks and feels like a proper track weapon.

The most interesting part is the lap time. My personal best at Dubai Autodrome (Full GP Circuit) had always been 2:16.

After we: • set a proper negative camber alignment, • installed GiroDisc steel brake rotors, • fitted Pagid Racing brake pads, • upgraded to steel braided brake lines, • filled the system with racing brake fluid,

I immediately started running 2:14. No long adaptation period, no getting used to it — I simply got in and drove faster.

The car now brakes on a completely different level. The pedal is no longer soft or vague — it’s firm, clear, and very easy to read. This allows for later braking and much better control.

Another big improvement is tire wear. Thanks to the negative camber, the outer shoulder of the tire is no longer being destroyed, which used to be an issue. The tire now works properly across its full contact patch.

Overall, the car has become: • more stable • more predictable • faster • and far more enjoyable to drive on track

The next track days are planned for January 8 and January 11.

The goal is simple — improve the result and aim for a 2:12 lap.

More progress to come.
