Rooted in Morgan's long-standing tradition of hand-crafted automobiles, the Plus 8 stands out as a symbol of individuality and engineering finesse. The Morgan Plus 8 retained its signature classic design, showcasing a timeless blend of vintage elegance and sporting flair. Its long bonnet, sweeping lines, and pronounced grille harken back to pre-war British roadsters, but with a flair that feels equally at home in the late 20th century. Despite its classic looks, the 1990 Plus 8 benefited from modern production techniques, ensuring improved durability and performance compared to earlier models. Under the bonnet of the 1990 Morgan Plus 8 lies a 3.5-litre Rover V8 engine, which produces approximately 190 horsepower. Coupled with a lightweight aluminum body and chassis, the Plus 8 achieves impressive acceleration, reaching 0-60 mph in under 6 seconds. Its top speed exceeds 120 mph, making it a spirited performer on open roads or winding country lanes.     Chassis No.: R9639 Engine No.: 37A00047 Registration: C446 WFH • Desirable V8 variant • Just three former keepers The Morgan Plus 8 began production in 1968 and continued all the way through until 2004. The iconic Plus 8 returned in 2012 for a further six years, ending production again in 2018. Its iconic design remained largely unchanged throughout its life, lightweight construction, and powerful V8 engine. The Plus 8 is built on a steel chassis with a handcrafted aluminium body and Morgan’s famous ash wooden frame. The Plus 8 is powered by the tried and tested 3.5 litre Rover V8 engine, which provides exhilarating acceleration, aided further by the immensely low weight of around 830kg. It also features a five-speed manual transmission. First registered 12th February 1986 this Plus 8 finished in black with matching black trim boasts just three former keepers. This 3,5 litre V8 has an MoT until the 31st October 2025. This is a good example of the mighty V8 powered Morgan, which represents great value for money when compared with its rivals of the day.     Chassis No.: R10684 Registration: J899 EAB • Recently recommissioned • Low ownership • 3.9 litre engine The 1992 Morgan Plus 8 with its 3.9 litre V8 is a charismatic blend of old-world craftsmanship and modern muscle. Hand-built with a traditional ash wood frame under its sleek aluminium body, it delivers raw, analogue motoring unlike anything else. The Rover-sourced V8 provides exhilarating acceleration and a deep, evocative growl. Light, nimble, and charmingly retro, the Plus 8 captures the spirit of classic British sportscars while offering genuine performance and unforgettable driving character. Chassis ‘R10684’ was purchased new on 6th of February 1992 from The Morgan Motor Company costing an on the road price of £28,404.96. Finished from the factory in the attractive Corsa Red paintwork, this Plus 8 was specified with the extras of black leather interior upholstery, reclining seats, badge bar, locking petrol caps, bonnet strap, alloy body and wings, rustproofing, walnut dashboard, galvanised chassis and scuttle roll bar and features the 'hot wire' fuel injection system. This stunning example of classic British motoring has benefitted from the fitting of new front shock absorbers, a new ignition lock, a boot rack, a Moto-Lita steering wheel and more recently a recommissioning.
