Conceived by Edsel Ford for use around his Palm Beach, Florida winter holiday estate, the Lincoln Continental was a styling and engineering triumph that still pleases the senses today. Built in the second year of production on February 11, 1941, this elegant Continental Cabriolet is number 290 of 400 produced. The subject of a five-year restoration to factory specifications, this brilliantly finished and arduously detailed classic moves under the power of the marque’s turbine-smooth flathead V-12, here mated to the desirable Borg-Warner 3-speed transmission with overdrive.
