This 1995 Nissan Skyline GT-R V-Spec is an original Motorex-imported and legalized car, making it one of the most sought-after R33 GT-Rs in the United States. Motorex, under Hiroaki Nanahoshi, was the sole importer to fully federalize Skylines for U.S. roads in the late 1990s and early 2000s, making this GT-R a highly significant example. Power comes from a fully built 2.6-liter inline-6 engine with HKS cams, HKS oil pump, Greddy intake plenum, HKS downpipe, HKS 409 exhaust, Haltech ECU and a Precision 6766 turbocharger. Output exceeds 800hp on an E85 flex-fuel system with twin pumps. Additional drivetrain upgrades include the R34 Getrag 6-speed manual transmission and front axle lift.
The suspension is handled by Tein components, while stopping and handling are supported by performance enhancements throughout. The GT-R rides on 19-inch Work Meister wheels wrapped in high-performance tires. Exterior details include xenon headlights, Series 3 front lip and original V-Spec aero. Inside, the car retains its period-correct interior, featuring NISMO seat covers, original trim and upgraded instrumentation to accommodate the modern ECU. The cockpit remains well-preserved, showing minor wear consistent with its age, including small paint chips and minor rub under the right fender, but no dents or major dings.
