A refined grand tourer from the late 1970s, this elegant 450 SLC blends timeless Mercedes-Benz styling with smooth V8 performance and impressive long distance comfort. The 450 SLC was introduced in 1972 as the range-topping model in Mercedes-Benz' C107 line, combining sporting intent with grand touring luxury and quickly establishing itself as one of the marque’s most desirable coupés. Built in 1979, this example was UK-registered in 1981 and has had just two previous keepers. In current ownership since 2017 it has been in professional storage since with little to no use.
Finished in Brilliant Red Metallic (525) over a black leather interior (201) with Burr wood inlays on the centre console and dashboard, presented on its period correct 14" ‘Bundt’ alloy wheels.
