This 1959 Lincoln Continental was the beneficiary of a complete professional restoration with many custom modifications, updated technology and attention to detail in all aspects of the build. It has less than 500 miles since completion, was featured at SEMA with Arc Audio, was the winner of the Sacramento Autorama World's Most Beautiful Custom Award and was featured in Street Rod Milestones Magazine. It's powered by a mildly built Chevy 350ci V8 engine fitted with billet accessories. The engine is mated to a Turbo 350 automatic transmission connected to a Dana rear end. Other features include power steering, power windows, 4-wheel disc brakes and Vintage Air.
Its factory convertible top was removed to transform the car into a 4-seat roadster. The windshield was lowered to give it a chopped silhouette and the door glass was modified to complete the roadster look. Wings were added to the quarter-panels to give it aerodynamic appeal. The factory rear skirts were removed and the wheel wells were modified with a tear-drop effect. It sits on air-ride technology to give it a lower stance and rides on bonspeed wheels. The custom interior is finished in gray with a smoothed, wrapped dash fitted with AutoMeter gauges. It also has a tilt Ididit steering column and Lokar pedals.
During the restoration, the entire car was taken down to bare metal and finished with PPG acrylic urethane light blue paint. From the custom billet grille to the Cadillac taillights, every part of the car was either restored or replaced.
