Honda Pushes Suppliers to Cut Costs by $9.4B
Honda is launching an aggressive cost-cutting campaign as it tries to compete with increasingly price-competitive Chinese automakers. According to Reuters, the Japanese company has asked suppliers to significantly lower component prices as part of a plan to save 1.5 trillion yen, or about $9.4 billion, by 2030.
