This factory 5-speed 1969 Porsche 912 is finished in Burgundy over a black leatherette interior. It is powered by its matching-numbers 1.6-litre flat-4 engine with Dellorto carburetors, paired with a 5-speed manual transaxle. It currently shows 89,410 actual miles and benefits from a complete engine rebuild less than 400 miles ago. Between 2017 and 2018 over $67,000 was spent on a full engine rebuild and light restoration of this 912. The floor pan and tray were repaired and repainted, most of the vehicle was disassembled to do so and reassembled with new parts as needed. Invoices for 12 months of work accompany the vehicle.

The work was completed by a Porsche Classics specialist at Porsche Centre Victoria. The first-generation Porsche 912 is a sports car produced by Porsche AG of Stuttgart, Germany, for the 1965 through 1969 model years. An entry-level variant of the 911, it was offered in compact 2+2 Coupe and Targa body styles. The nimble-handling 912 was fitted with a 1.6-liter air cooled flat-4 from the last of the 356s, equipped with either a 4 or 5-speed manual transmission, 4-wheel disc brakes, fender-mounted antenna, 4-spoke steering wheel, chrome trim and a full-size spare tire fitted in the front trunk.

This 1969 Porsche 912 comes with a copy of the Kardex build record showing it was delivered new in Sand paint with a brown leatherette and corduroy interior, chrome wheels with colored hubcaps and a manual 5-speed transmission. This 912 has been upgraded with 15-inch Fuchs wheels and a beautiful set of hard-to-find Dellorto carburetors (one of the most sought-after carburetor setups for a 912). Lightweight and nimble, the 912 offers a spirited driving experience. It has all the refinements of the 356 era mechanically, but in the newly designed body of the 911.
