This 1959 Opel Wagon was transformed into a dragster vehicle by Walt Gibson and raced at the Fontana Speedway in California. While the exterior remains mostly unchanged, all non-visible mechanical components were modified for racing. Powered by a 455ci Buick V8 engine mated to an automatic transmission with a B&A Pro Ratchet shifter. The tube-frame chassis with a built-in roll cage enhances the structure while the position of the engine requires components to be replaced from the inside of the car.
