The MG A 1600 is a classic British sports car produced between 1959 and 1961 and represented a significant mechanical upgrade over the original 1500 model. Dating from 1960, this very smart example is finished in Old English White with a dark red leather interior, newish Burgundy hood, chrome wire wheels and a chrome luggage rack, a combination that suits the MG A’s clean, understated lines. Powered by the model’s proven 1,588cc B-Series four-cylinder engine paired with a manual gearbox, the MG A offers straightforward mechanicals and balanced handling typical of the period.
