As confirmed by its data sheet, this 500 SL roadster was delivered on January 24, 1997, before being registered on March 13 of the same year. The bodywork features a rare and elegant metallic emerald-black finish, paired with a black leather interior and matching soft top. It comes with a rare panoramic hardtop (supplied with its stand), a particularly sought-after feature. The car also has optional electric seats, a CD player and a wind deflector. Its current owner acquired it in Belgium in June 2015, when the car had 140,000 km on the odometer, and has driven more than 18,000 km since.
The electric soft top is in good working order, and its fabric was replaced in 2012. The last service, including an engine oil change and fluid-level checks, was carried out in August 2021.
