A very good representation of the legendary Mk1 Escort Mexico, the road-going derivative of Ford’s rally-winning RS programme. Powered by the naturally aspirated 1.6-litre inline-four ‘Kent Crossflow’ engine, driving the rear wheels through a 4-speed manual gearbox. The car has clearly been cherished, remaining largely faithful to its original specification. The odometer displays 63,344 miles, believed by the vendor to be correct, although this is not warranted. Recent maintenance carried out in July 2025 by MF Performance at just over 60,000 miles, including new front wheel bearings, new front brake callipers and a new brake master seal.
