This 1971 Ford Bronco is offered in what is reported as very good condition. It is further stated that the Bronco has had a great deal of work done. The VIN indicates that this is one of the “pickup” versions when factory new by having U14 in the numerical sequence. The U15 sequence vehicles were considered to be a “wagon.”
When preparing for the restoration work with modifications; all body and mechanical parts were purchased from Tom's Bronco Parts of Medford, Oregon. There were no custom or homemade parts used. The entire floorpan of this vehicle has been replaced. A new rollbar has been installed. The body was stripped down bare and professionally patched as needed before the application of primer and paint. The Bronco is finished in a distinctive custom orange and shows very well. The interior is brand new and a custom retro pattern that remains true to the orange and white color theme of the vehicle. New vintage-style white wheels and new Goodyear tires finish off the exterior.
A brand new full-length top has been professionally installed. Mechanically the original 302-cid V-8 engine (a Bronco option when new) and three-speed column-shift transmission have been rebuilt and “work as new.” The engine has billet valve covers and air cleaner with a very clean overall presentation. The four-wheel drive works perfectly as well, according to the information provided. All gauges are either brand new or have been professionally restored. This vehicle has had a new wiring harness and been completely rewired as well. Power steering is another feature, as is a new stereo system with CD, that has been installed to add to your driving enjoyment.
During the course of the rework, brand new undercoating treatment and spray in bedliner have been added in order to make sure this vehicle stands the test of time and is a breeze for clean-up after spirited use. This truck is described by the current owner as “a great driving vehicle and loads of fun.”
