An eclectic passion French title - One of the 384 2.0 L coupés sold in France - Superb original colour combination - Major restoration in 2014 - No reserve Introduced in 1967, the Fiat Dino coupé was intended to be a genuine GT, with space for four passengers to travel at high speed in great safety and comfort. It was equipped with an all-aluminium 2-litre V6, derived from the Dino 196 racing engine developed by Ferrari. The car we are offering for sale is one of the 384 2-litre models registered in France, as the importer's plate confirms.

First registered on 21 December 1967, this elegant coupé was bought at auction by our client in May 2013, at which time the description listed only three owners, the first of whom had requested that it be repainted a deep purple. In 2013, the Dino was sent to a body shop to be returned to its elegant original colour, 'Rosso Ossido'. The attractive 'Marrone' interior, which appears to be original and magnificently preserved, was kept, as were the after-market steering wheel and headrests. We also noted the presence of a period Philips radio as an addition to the car's standard equipment.

In 2014, more than 10,000 € worth of mechanical work was carried out, to the ignition, cooling system, carburettors, brakes, tyres and rear bearings. With 23,522km now on the clock, this good-looking coupé is well set up and runs very satisfactorily. The consistent overall condition of this fine example offers the opportunity to take the wheel of an elegant car delivering first-rate performance, with the sound of the V6 Dino, which can rev to over 8000rpm, as an added bonus!
