Toyota Confirms GR MR2 Comeback

Toyota confirms the GR MR2 is in development, targeting a 2029–2030 debut. It will feature a new 2.0L turbo “G20E” engine with around 400 hp, potentially capable of much more. Designed as a mid-engine coupe, a hybrid version is likely for some markets, marking a bold return for the iconic MR2.
