    McLaren Makes the Artura Easier to Buy

    Zero-percent financing is usually associated with ordinary sedans and family crossovers. A McLaren is a very different story. In the U.S., eligible new 2025 and 2026 McLaren Artura models are currently being offered with 0% APR for 36 months through McLaren Financial Services. Buyers can also choose terms of up to 72 months at 2.99% APR. The offer is scheduled to run through September 30, subject to credit approval. But does zero interest suddenly make a McLaren affordable? Not exactly. With the 2026 Artura starting at around $260,400, financing the entire price over 36 months with no down payment would mean roughly $7,233 per month before taxes and fees. At least the payment comes with serious performance. The Artura combines a twin-turbo 3.0-liter / 183-cu-in V6 with hybrid assistance to produce 690 bhp / 700 PS / 515 kW and 531 lb-ft / 720 Nm. That’s enough for 0–62 mph / 0–100 kph in just 3.0 seconds. The timing is intriguing, too. Separate reports have suggested the Artura could disappear around 2028, although McLaren has not officially confirmed those plans. So the APR may be zero—but would that actually change your decision? Would 0% financing make the Artura more tempting?

    The McLaren Artura was meant to launch a new chapter for the British supercar maker. But if recent reports are correct, its time in the spotlight could be much shorter than expected. McLaren’s first series-production high-performance hybrid faced a difficult start. Launch delays and quality issues eventually forced the company to pause deliveries while the car was further developed. Today, however, the Artura is a far more mature machine, combining a twin-turbo 3.0-liter V6 with hybrid assistance to produce 690 hp and 531 lb-ft of torque. Now, a new mid-engine hybrid reportedly planned for 2027 could deliver around 810 hp, potentially positioning it above the Artura in McLaren’s lineup. Some reports suggest the Artura could then be phased out as early as 2028, although McLaren has not confirmed that timeline. That would give the Artura a surprisingly short production run for a model that introduced such important technology to the brand. Was the Artura simply ahead of its time? Did its troubled launch hurt its reputation? And does it deserve a longer run?
