One of the most iconic names in motoring history, the Nissan Skyline GT-R was produced in limited numbers between 1969 and 1974 and then again in 1989 to 2002. Available only in limited markets, the car retained a mysterious nature that teased the psyche of enthusiasts who couldn’t acquire one in their country. Realizing the limitations behind such marketing, Nissan began developing a GT-R for the world market in 2000. After seven years and two prototypes, the production version of the all-new Nissan GT-R was unveiled at the Tokyo Motor Show.
