Driving the Lamborghini Aventador was an unforgettable experience. From the first glance, its aggressive, futuristic design commands attention — the sharp lines, the iconic scissor doors, and that unmistakable silhouette are pure art. Under the hood, the 6,5 L naturally aspirated V12 engine delivers an incredible 700+ horsepower. The sound alone is worth the price of admission: a deep, throaty roar that turns into a banshee wail as you approach the redline. Acceleration is ferocious — 0–100 km/h in under 3 seconds feels like being catapulted forward. On the road, the Aventador is surprisingly composed. The all‑wheel‑drive system and advanced suspension provide excellent grip and stability, even when pushing hard. The steering is precise and communicative, and the carbon‑ceramic brakes are incredibly effective. Inside, the cockpit is driver‑focused and luxurious. The materials are top‑notch, and the driving position is sporty yet comfortable enough for longer journeys. Of course, practicality isn’t its strong suit — the trunk is tiny, and visibility isn’t great — but that’s a small price to pay for this level of performance and exclusivity. The Lamborghini Aventador is a car for true sports car enthusiasts who want to get the most out of their vehicle. The performance is excellent – the car doesn't just float, it flies. It's a bit of a pain in the ass to drive it in the city – I had a hard time keeping my cool and not exceeding the speed limit. It's a joy to play with the pedal on the highway. At the time, the Aventador SVJ was absolutely the most extreme Lamborghini ever built, boasting weight-saving measures and employing Lamborghini’s new Aerodinamica Lamborghini Attiva, or ALA, system, which provided 40% more downforce over the Aventador SV and a 1-percent reduction in drag. Driven by test driver Marco Mapelli and using the optional Pirelli P-Zero Trofeo R tires, an Aventador SVJ prototype wearing specialized camouflage set a new record at Germany’s Nurburgring in 2018 with a lap time of 6:44.97. Today, the Aventador SVJ is still one of the most formidable and exclusive cars in the world. The Aventador SVJ Roadster takes the concept to another level with just 63 examples built, each custom tailored to the buyer’s specification, and this one has covered a mere 559 miles. Finished in a Blu Emera matte exterior with gold accents, including the optional “63” livery, this Aventador SVJ 63 Roadster features an extensive list of unique options and equipment such as the removable carbon fiber hardtop and visible carbon fiber exterior trim. The S brought about a new level of sophistication and an extra 20 HP with improved Pirelli tires. When that was not enough, the Miura SV was introduced in 1971. An acronym for Super Veloce, the SV largely became the most iconic and sought-after of the marque. Subtle styling differences separated the SV from the rest of the Miura family, but also a stout 380 HP on tap from the 4.0L V-12 made it the most powerful production Lamborghini at the time. In 1970, it was thought that Lamborghini should dip its toe in the racing world and called on its test driver, Bob Wallace, to create a Miura that would conform to the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA) Appendix J racing regulations. Sticking to the rules of the book, Wallace and the team created the Miura SVJ, which became known as the Jota. After extensive testing and the company electing not to go racing, the original Miura SVJ was sold to a private buyer. Sadly, the car was crashed in Brescia, Italy, and burned to the ground. Six Miura SVJs were produced while the Miura was in production, one built new and five built from original SV cars. The SV and SVJ nomenclature would largely lay in dormancy until the 1990s, when it was resurrected on the Diablo and subsequently the Aventador. For 2018, the Aventador SVJ LP 770-4 was introduced in coupe and roadster form at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance creating quite the stir. As extreme as extreme could be, the Aventador SVJ boasted a 6.5L/759 HP 48-valve V-12 engine with multiport fuel injection, all-wheel drive and an automatic transmission among a smorgasbord of specialized aerodynamics helping to hold the car on the ground. According to Lamborghini, the SVJ would sprint from 0-60 MPH in 2.9 seconds and top out at nearly 220 MPH. On top of that, it was laden with technological features and luxury amenities pressing it well into the stratosphere of the world’s most exclusive. This 2019 Lamborghini Aventador SVJ shows just over 4,113 miles on the odometer and is presented in full PPF wrap. Finished in Bianco Phanes, it is fitted with the Style Package, which includes high-gloss black detailing. The styling is further highlighted with carbon fiber details such as the sideview mirror housings, rocker covers, Y-Bonnet and air intakes. The Nero Cosmus interior also features carbon fiber footplates, and the heated seats also have carbon fiber detailing and “SVJ” contrast cross stitching.
