This 1973 Volkswagen Transporter custom pickup completed a full no-expense-spared nut-and-bolt restoration in 2020. Nearly every part on this VW Transporter pickup was either replaced or rebuilt and has less than 500 miles since completion. It's powered by a rebuilt chrome-plated 1600cc 4-cylinder engine featuring single port heads, Solex carburetor, and 1-5/8 inch stainless steel exhaust. The engine has been fully dressed to impress with EMPI oil filler neck, coil cover, tin kit, crank pulley, alternator pulley, fuel pump, and stainless valve cover. Air enters the engine through a custom air cleaner utilizing a K&N air filter.

Shifting is handled by way of a rebuilt 4-speed manual transmission. The entire frame was media-blasted before receiving fresh new Cream and green two-tone paint with a custom stainless-steel trim kit and CIP1 bumper guards. The unique truck bed with individual folding bed sides was finished with a custom wood track bed. Also has a new VW front logo, front safari windows, side mirrors, headlight grilles and wiper arms, all finished in chrome to complete the exterior. The cabin was completely redone as well and is decked out with a new custom interior, door panels and headliner.

Additional features include RetoBelt seat belts, billet handles, billet cup holder, retro stereo, and a chrome and teak roof tack. Rides on OEM wheels with JBug hubcaps wrapped with new Hankook Kinergy tires. Includes a custom cover, surfboard and hula girl dash doll.
