For those of us old enough to remember, there was always a certain thrill seeing these amazing campers heading to the South West in a rainbow of colours. The Bay Sundowner, produced by Devon Conversions, was the top of the range, with a swing out oven, plenty of room for a family of four with two in the fold away roof and the ability to stand up when camped. Mechanically overhauled extensively during our vendors 19-year ownership, the VW has recently benefited from a well refurbished interior. With his children now grown up, his beloved camper is not getting much use so our vendor has reluctantly decided to part with it.
