Launched as the replacement for the MG TF at the 1955 Frankfurt Motor Show, the MGA was revolutionary step forward for MG. It was designed by renowned MG designer Syd Enever and featured a much more aerodynamic design whose shape still looks familiar today. Following its launch, the MGA proved to be a hit and over 100,000 were sold by 1962 in both 2-door roadster and 2-door coupe body styles.

This 1958 roadster offers great potential as a project car and is finished in the iconic British Racing Green. The shell itself has been well restored and still presents well. It is also noted that the car's original 1500cc engine has been swapped out for a later MGB 1,800cc unit mated to an MGA gearbox. The steering rack has also been built. Offered with a new radiator, windscreen, bumpers and some other small items. This is a great project vehicle with a lot of potential.
