First registered to Team Lotus International in 1986, this Mercedes 190E 2.3 Cosworth has a fascinating history. It was originally one of two Cosworths supplied new to Lotus for use by the late Ayrton Senna, Colin Chapman and others - the vendors research implies that this was the official Senna car. As such the car has been very well maintained throughout its life and has a full service history that includes old bills, MOTs and tax discs. More recently in December 2020, the car has had its floors, sills and wheel arches repaired professionally. Overall, this is a very good and solid example that is presented in excellent condition. It is also reported to be running and driving well. This is a unique opportunity to purchase a 190E Cosworth with Lotus F1 history.
