To celebrate the 70th anniversary of the marque in 2017, Ferrari’s Tailor Made department took 70 of the most memorable Ferraris, one representing each year of production, and reimagined their design features into liveries for the five current production models on sale to create 350 exclusive cars. Only one example with each individual livery would be produced, making each unique in their own way.
This particular example bears the ninth livery, “White Spider”, on the GTC4Lusso platform. It paid homage to the Ferrari 375 MM Spider, a car that dominated the 1953 World Sportscar Championship with notable wins in the 24 Hours of Spa and Nürburgring 1000 Kilometres in the hands of legends such as Mike Hawthorn and Alberto Ascari. Like the 375 MM, one of the highlights of the car is undoubtedly the V-12 engine, and although it cannot boast the race-bred pedigree of its forebear, the 6.3-litre Tipo 140 V-12 engine is no slouch. Its 683 brake horsepower at 8,000 rpm eclipses both the Ferrari Enzo and 599 GTO, and the seven-speed, dual-clutch transmission permits a top speed of 335 km/h.
Unveiled at the 2016 Geneva International Motor Show and featuring styling by Pininfarina, the GTC4Lusso was described by Jeremy Clarkson as “the most beautiful piece of sculpture of all time”. This unique version is made all the more special with its Bianco Italia paintwork adorned with two Blu Pozzi racing stripes. On the inside the sumptuous interior benefits from Blu Sterling leather with Blu Mycroprestige details, blue carbon fibre trims, and carpets in a cut-proof Superfabric. Standard items such as the dual-cockpit architecture either side of the 26-centimetre HD touchscreen remain; however, the “Tailor Made Collection” commemorative plaque on the armrest is anything but standard, reminding occupants that this is no ordinary GTC4Lusso.
Having been delivered new to Autohaus Saggio GmbH of Munich, Germany, the Ferrari later joined The Tailored For Speed Collection in Switzerland in 2020. The vehicle is documented by a special equipment Classiche book and a collection of Ferrari books and manuals. The service booklet contains stamps confirming services were carried out in 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, and 2025; the most recent was conducted by Kessel of Zug in March.
Today, the car presents in superlative condition having covered just 7,985 kilometres from new. This is a true collector’s piece and a modern classic in every respect.
