French registration title In the mid-1970s, a gap was found in the BMW range: there was no convertible! The offices of the Baur company stepped in to fill the void, designing a Targa on the basis of the E21 generation.

It was sufficiently successful that the model was retained for the E30 generation: this was the heyday of this version, which offered greater rigidity than the cabriolet models that were now standard.

Our example is in excellent condition and has just under 195,000 km on the clock! The Zinnoberrot paintwork appears to be the original (label in the engine compartment) and is fairly modern, while the upholstery appears to be largely original.
