Built as a recreation of the 1988 ETCC Autohaus Wollstadt Racing Team cars, the M3 has been prepared by marque experts, Amspeed, in recent years and has been campaigned by its enthusiast owner. The specification is impressive and is listed below: Chassis. : BMW E30 M3 – shell prepped to 'Group A' standards. Roll cage. : custom cage B30F/10 – BMW E30 factory style – multipoint. Engine. : BMW S14 B25 – two hours since Amspeed rebuild. Carbon airbox, lightweight exhaust, lightweight flywheel.
Transmission. : Getrag 265 fitted with 6-speed Samsonas Homologated ratios, BMW motorsport linkage, multi-plate LSD 3.7:1, Grp A M3 driveshafts. Suspension. : Front: Bilstein 300/300 Group A. BMW Motorsport recreation aluminium uprights. Front wishbones 88-90 spec, 34mm Blade ARB 90-92 spec. Rear: Gaz single way dampers, Gr.A 87-89 rear beam & trailing arms, adjustable blade ARB. Steering: Gr.A/DTM Rack – 1turn = 56mm, Solid UJ mount, 'Group A' steering arms 87-89. Weight. : 1,000kgs dry.
