A UK-supplied example of the revered E30 325i with a manual gearbox and very sensibly estimated.

Compact rear-wheel drive saloons were in short supply in the 1980s and consequently, BMW's E30 3-Series quickly stood out as something special, being lightweight, refined, and offering unparalleled driving pleasure. BMW debuted the official E30 Convertible at the 1985 Frankfurt Motor Show. It featured a significantly strengthened floorpan and reinforced A-pillars to maintain structural integrity without a roll bar. The 325 was powered by BMW's legendary M20 2.5-litre straight-six offering 171bhp and mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox. The example seen here is smartly presented in an attractive shade of dark metallic blue and has been fully painted at some point.

It has been cosmetically enhanced with the addition of M-Technic bumpers and an M-Technic black leather interior. Acquired by our vendor in 2019 and evidently cherished, the history file evidences a significant spend in 2020 of £6,910 with BMW specialist BMR Performance including an Inspection II Service, replacement timing belt, new front brake calipers and an extensive list of ancillaries and other works. We are informed that a new soft top was installed around two years ago. The speedometer unit was also changed in October 2021 at approximately 171,283 miles and the BBS Centre Caps and a BMW steering wheel are also present.
