Introduced in 1971, the Volvo 1800 ES was the final evolution of the 1800 series, combining the mechanicals of the sporting coupé with a practical shooting brake body style and remaining in production until 1973. Manufactured in November 1972 and first registered in the UK on 01/05/1973, this example is currently indicating 97,130 miles and is presented as a restoration project having been stored for a number of years. Powered by Volvo’s 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine driving through a manual gearbox to the rear wheels, the 1800 ES featured independent front suspension and disc brakes at the front.
